Louis H Mehmert, 66, Chamois, a former resident of Linn died Saturday at Chas Still Hospital in Jefferson City.
Mr Mehmert was born March 30, 1902, the son of Herman Mehmert and Anna Wilber's. On Feb. 18, he was married to Miss Cresenthia Markway. She died May 9, 1968.
Survivors include three sons, Louis and Paul Mehmert of Chamois and Leonard of Belleville, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs Medart Rost, Morrison and Mrs Richard Bax, Charleston, S.C.
Five sisters, Mrs Jos. Wilber's, Miss Lizzie Mehmert, Mrs Louis Pirner, Mrs George Rackers, all of Jefferson City, and Mrs Edw. Bemboom, Independence; and 22 grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10a.m. Tuesday at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Chamois, with Rev AJ Grellner officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
