G. S. TINGLEL [sic] DEAD.

G. S. TIngley, one of the prominent residents of Susquehanna county, died at his home at Herrlck Centre Friday night of heart disease.

Mr. TIngley was one of the most prominent men in Susquehanna county. For three terms he held the office of county commissioner. In his own town he had served three terms as justice of the peace, several terms as constable, assessor, auditor, school director, etc. At the time of his death he held the office of post master. He was a prominent Mason and Odd Fellow and in politics a staunch Republican. He owned the Herrlck Centre coal pockets, and ran a retail feed store. He leaves a wife, one son, Raymond; five brothers, and two sisters, to mourn his loss. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 1 o'clock.
