BRIGHAM CITY--Carrie (Kay) Hansen Humpherys, 97, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014.

Carrie was born July 20, 1917, a daughter of Dorothea Olsen and Rasmus Peter Hansen in Elwood, Utah. She graduated from Bear River High in 1936.

She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Brigham City 23rd Ward. She worked at the Bushnell Army Hospital during WWII. She also worked at Glen's Rexall Drug Store in Brigham City for 20 years. She was sealed to her husband Glen S. Humpherys in the Ogden Utah Temple on May 30, 2006.

Carrie is survived by her son, four grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children and one great-great-grandchild, one sister, and one step-daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-son Val Humpherys, two brothers: Willie and Harold, two sisters: Dorothy and Ellen and ten half sisters and brothers.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Friends may call Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
