John Lynch, 87, prominent
farmer of this community died at
the St. Joseph hospital in Centerville,
Saturday, where he had
been a patient for several weeks.
The son of William and Catherine
Moyer Lynch, Mr Lynch was
born December 5, 1868, near Monterey.
He had spent his entire
life in this community.
He is survived by his widow,
Rosalee Henson Lynch, three
daughters, Mrs. Alpha Allen
Wahl, of Moulton, and Agnes and
Goldie at home; three sons.
George, of Moulton, and Lyle
and Clifford at home. One daughter,
Dot Sheets, died some 14
years ago. There are also two
surviving sisters, Mrs. Etta Horn
of Monterey, and Mrs. Mamie
Henson, of Coatsville. One brother
and one sister preceded him
in death.
Funeral services were held at
the Methodist church in Moulton,
Tuesday afternoon, conducted by
the pastor Rev. Edward Philgreen.
Burial was in Oakland
cemetery, west of Moulton.
