Failure to recover from an illness and attending operation at Oshkosh resulted
in death of Chas. Shimek, village clerk of Reedsville at an early hour Wednesday
morning. The decedent, who leaves a widow and two children, had been clerk for a
number of years and general sorrow is expressed at his death. The funeral will
be held on Saturday from the late home. Charles Shimek was well known in Brillion
and highly esteemed. His many friends here extend their sincere sympathy to the
sadly bereaved family.
