Funeral services for Mrs. Ferd Graves were held at the Craig Presbyterian Church, at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Charles Goodman and burial was in New Liberty cemetery.
Mrs. Graves died at the Fairfax Community hospital Saturday. She had been a patient there two days. She had been in poor health 11 years, but bedfast only a week.
Nona Nauman Graves, daughter of Joseph and Mary Nauman wa born near Craig, January 29, 1894, and died May 14, 1955 at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 15 days. She was married to Ferd Graves of Fairfax, October 23, 1912. They established their home south of Fairfax, and lived on that farm the remainder of her life.
She was a member of the Craig Presbyterian Church and a woman who was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
Surviving are the husband; two sisters, and five brothers who are: Mrs. Lena Clayton and Miss Ida Nauman, both of Craig; Grover Nauman, Maryville; John and Jim Nauman, of Mound City; Lester Nauman, Burlington Junction, and Forrest Nauman, Gettsburg, S.D. Four brothers and one sister preceded her in death. They were: Leonard, Newton, Casper and Ernest Nauman and Mrs. Dora Huffman.
