"Lester Waldo Nauman, Burlington Junction, died Saturday afternoon at a hospital in Denver, Colo., where he had been under treatment for the past two months. Prior to being a patient at the Denver hospital, he was under treatment at the state sanitarium at Mt. Vernon, Mo.
Born August 3, 1888, near Craig, he was the son of the late Joseph Sirum and Mary Alice Long Nauman. He had spent the earlier part of his life in the Craig and Fairfax communities. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. His first marriage was to Bessie Lee Creed, who preceded him in death. On November 30, 1918, he was married to Anna Lillian McConnell, who died October 18, 1928.
He is survived by one son and two daughters: Clark Nauman, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Barbara Williams, Loveland, Colo; Margaret Anderson, Denver, Colo.; one sisters, Mrs. Lena Clayton, Craig; three brothers, John Nauman, Mound City; Grover Nauman, Maryville; Forrest Nauman, South Dakota; and six grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Pleasant view Church, near Craig, with the Rev. Clair Marvel officiating.
Burial was in the New Liberty Cemetery."
