She was born June 6, 1923, in Bruce, Ill., to Charles L. and Eugenia L. Peadro Erwin. She married William Oliver Queen on July 12, 1941, in Shelbyville, Ill. He preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 1992.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Charles, Leonard, John and Robert.
June is survived by five children, Janet Curtis of Washington, Gail Gormley of East Peoria, William Steve Queen of West Monroe, La., Major Christine Queen USAF Ret. of East Peoria and Gordon (Susan) Queen of Evergreen, Colo.
June worked at several area businesses, including Smiths Variety in Sunnyland, Sunnyland Bakery and Peoria Top Value Store, and she last worked at Sunnyland JoAnn Fabric, retiring in 1981.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
