Services for Clara Buske, 86, of Abernathy, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, in the Abernathy First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike O'Donnell officiating. Burial will follow in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy, Texas. Mrs. Buske died Friday, March 15, 2013, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born March 14, 1927, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Clarence A. and Elizabeth (Mortimer) Parker. She married J. F. Buske, Feb. 16, 1951, in Klamath Falls. He preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1999. She was employed at Lubbock ISD as a cafeteria worker for a number of years. She was a member of the Abernathy First Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Lynn Waters in 1992. She is survived by daughter, Debbie Hernandez of Lubbock, Texas, and three sisters, Jean Flackus of Klamath Falls, Ore., Beth Davis of Rye, Colo., and Mary Davis of Bonanza, Ore.
