Hagerstown, Md., May 22 - Garnet O. Tarner, 31, Chambersburg, Pa., driver of a gasoline truck for the Gulf Refining Company, was instantly killed when a Philadelphia and Reading locomotive struck his truck at the crossing at Wayne's Castle this morning. The gasoline in the tank scattered in all directions and took fire. The flames communicated to the warehouse of Frank Miller & Sons near by and this structure, together with a large quantity of grain, was destroyed.
