Nelliemae Nebergall, 68, of P.O. Box 185, Cullom, formerly of Canton, died Friday, March 31, 2000, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Born July 4, 1931, in Knoxville to Meredith and Gretchen Bybee Standard, she married Bernard Russell on May 23, 1947, in Canton. She later married William Nebergall Sr. on June 9, 1961, in Canton.

Surviving are three sons, Gordon (and Sandra) of Harrodsburg, Ky., William Jr. (and Lisa) and Jason, both of Canton; three daughters, Mrs. William (Bernadine) Patton of Havana, Debra Collins of Macomb and Mrs. Gregory (Lena) Pankert of Graymont; one sister, Gert Evans of Lewistown; and Paul Baldwin, with whom she made her home.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

She was activity director at Nursing Center of Canton for 12 years and worked at Broadway Arms and Spoon River Towers in Lewistown. She last worked as a nurse's aide at Everglow Lodge in Pontiac.

She was a past member of Amaranth and a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded.
