Surviving are his wife, Sharon Kemp; son, Randy Kemp of Fuquay-Varina, NC; two brothers, George Kemp III and wife, Donna of Opelika, AL and James S. Kemp of Angier; parents, George and Ann Kemp, Jr. of Fuquay-Varina, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home.
