Loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Velma Ellen Cole Nabaum Stauffer age 84, died March 10, 1997 in Sandy, Utah.

Born Nov. 10, 1912 in Union, Utah to Charles F. and Clara Walker Cole. Married Overton A. Nabaum on July 1, 1932 in Salt Lake City. He died Sept. 11, 1933. Married Wendell L. Stauffer Sept. 4, 1954 in Evanston, Wyo. He died June 27, 1981.

She was a member of the LDS Church. She was a member of the Ladies Railroad Retirement Group. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, and loved to travel.

Survivors: Son, Overton A. (Colleen) Nabaum, So. Jordan; stepsons, Steve W. (Maureen) Stauffer, Midvale, Larry W. Stauffer, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Funeral services Friday 1 p.m., Mar. 14, 1997, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St. Friends may call Thur. 6-8 p.m. and Friday 1 hr. prior to services. Interment: Midvale City Cemetery.
