Married Patrick Collie Hutcheon, solicitor, in Glasgow in 1883, and returned with him to live in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.
Widowed there in 1895, and subsequently moved to Glasgow with her 5 children.
Emigrated to Rosetown, Saskatchewan in 1911 with 3 of her children, joining there her sons Alex. and Bill Hutcheon.
Died in Rosetown in 1934.
