OBITUARY
Dewey R. Johnson, 78 of J.C. Estates, Marietta, Ohio died March 16, 2005. He was born in Washington County, Ohio and was the son of the late Herman & Myra Farnsworth Johnson. He retired from the City of Marietta. He loved to play horseshoes years ago. He enjoyed music and dancing at the Eagles and Moose Clubs. Over the past several years he could be seen walking all over Marietta.
Survivors include his seven daughters, Myra McIntyre of Marietta, Donna Johnson and Anita Mugridge both of Columbus, Ohio, Helen Young of Cutler, Ohio, Millie McCabe, Rebecca Hill and Joyce Romska all of Marietta. Four sons, Joe Johnson of Columbus, Ric Johnson of Lancaster, PA, Randy Tullius of Georgia, Charles Tullius of Vincent, Ohio. Three sisters, Mona Kay Barnett of Casper, WY, Opal Johnson of PA, and Alta Burge of Marietta, Ohio. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a grandchild.
Services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Curt Klettner officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 and up till service time on Friday.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by Parkersburg Post #15 of the American Legion. An online register book may be signed at www.LeavittFuneralHome.com
