Christina E. Crow, 69, 1720 S. Fifth, died unexpectedly early Christmas morning at Cushing Memorial Hospital where she was admitted shortly before midnight after becoming ill at her home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at a time to be announced.
The Rev. Father Raymond Nolan, pastor, will officiate.
Mrs. Crow was born Oct. 9, 1912, in Quincy, ILL, the daughter of Thomas P. and Elizabeth K. Wendel Burke.
She had been a resident of Leavenworth since the age of 3.
She attended Leavenworth schools and was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception.
She is survived by her husband Hershell William Crow, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Walter "Doris" Eddy, 316 Second Ave.; two brothers, John Burke, 1614 Pawnee and Thomas Burke, 111 Shawnee; four sisters, Mrs. Agnes Klotz, 111 Shawnee, Elizabeth Burke, 111 Shawnee, Elizabeth Burke, 111 Shawnee, Mrs. Nellie Tuttle, 1009 N. Broadway and Mrs. Margaret Taylor, Haysvelle; one granddaughter and four grandsons, and one great-grandson.
Burial will be in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. a parish wake service will be at 6;30 Monday in the Larkin-Brown funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday.
