Lucy K. Kolb, 97, Wardsville, died Monday at Capital Region Medical Center-Southwest. She was born August 10, 1900, in Taos, a daughter of Henry and Margaret Prenger Thessen. She was married June 19, 1928, in Taos, to Joseph Kolb Sr., who died Dec. 12, 1965.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality of the church.

Survivors include: four sons, Joe Kolb, Norbert Kolb and Stanley Kolb, all of Wardsville, and Louis Kolb, Jefferson City; two daughters, Lucille Rackers and Agnes Volmert, both of Wardsville; one sister, Emma Ortmeyer, Jefferson City; 30 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. One son, Albert Kolb, died in 1930.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:39 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the St. Stanislaus Educational Fund.
