Mr. Stanley "Pudd" Collins EFFINGHAM, S.C. - Mr. Stanley "Pudd" Collins, 65, formerly of Coward, husband of Wanda J. Collins, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, after an illness. Mr. Collins was born in Florence County on March 21, 1949, a son of the late Leo Collins and Sarah McKnight Collins. He was self-employed as a carpenter. Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Wanda J. Collins of Effingham; daughter, Stacy Collins (Glenn) Creel of Lake City; grandsons, Gauge Edward Creel and Stanley Cole Creel both of Lake City; four sisters, Illa Mae Matthews of Scranton, Elmer Jean Floyd of Florence, Mary McCutcheon of Kingstree and Selvia Collins (Johnny) Sims of Turbeville; four brothers, Collie Collins of Scranton, C. B. (Faye) Collins of Florence, Dovelt (Doris) Collins of Coward and Willard (Chris) Collins of Scranton. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by two sisters, Ella Mae (Bill) Matthews and Connie Stokes and three brothers, B. J. (Marian) Collins, Harold (Jane) Collins and Bobby Collins. Funeral service will be at 5:00 P. M., Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery, Johnsonville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 P. M., Monday, July 28, 2014 at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 E.
