Hilda Elizabeth Orr Korolewski, 93, Cameron, passed away July 20, 2014, at her home.
Hilda was born May 5, 1921, in Meta, Missouri, to Ervin and Elsie Orr. She attended school in both Missouri and Colorado.
Hilda was working as a licensed practical nurse in Pueblo, Colorado, where she met and married Clarence John Korolewski of Fairmont, Minnesota, on December 4, 1943.
Hilda and Clarence farmed for 2 years in Colorado and 20 years in Minnesota before moving to Mendon, Missouri, where they farmed for another 20 years. Hilda and Clarence retired and moved to Cameron, MO, in 1989.
In Minnesota, Hilda was a member of the Garden Club and Ladies Aid Society, the Army Mothers, Mendon, MO, and the First Baptist Church, Cameron, MO. During her lifetime of church involvement, Hilda was a member of the choir, a frequent soloist, served as Bible School director, Sunday School teacher, and on many committees.
Hilda enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and vacationing. Most of all she loved and took pleasure in her family.
Hilda is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, three brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte (Keith) Taylor, Ash Grove, MO and Sandra Noellsch, Cameron; her granddaughters, Kimberly Woody and Tiffany Storey, seven great-grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren, and two sisters, Imogene Edgell, Norfolk,VA and Joyce Reyher, Canon, TX.
Services: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Cameron. Visitation: 1-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens.
