Services for Jerry "Rickie" Rutledge, age 61, of Elkhart, Texas will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Elkhart Church of Christ with Jim Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mr. Rutledge died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Palestine Regional Medical Center. He was born September 9, 1952 in Elkhart to Lenard Esta and Ivie Mildred Till Rutledge. He was a member of the Elkhart Church of Christ. Mr. Rutledge was a life long carpenter in the Elkhart area. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers. He is survived by daughters, Amanda B. Carson of Palestine, Katherine Rutledge of Dallas, and Angela S. Rutledge of Athens; sons, Richard Rutledge of Elkhart, and Rickie Ray Rutledge of Palestine; sisters, Shelly Kelly and Bessi Rutledge both of Elkhart; and a brother, Carl Rutledge of Elkhart; and eight grandchildren.
