Survivors: Son, Chet D. Slawson of Houston; two brothers, Lawrence Rainbolt of Knoxville, Tenn., and James Rainbolt of Merryville, Ind; three sisters, Lucille McKay, Barbarba Barnhart, and Margaret Blythe, all of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.
