Henry N. Neese, 87, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Anderson Hospital in Meridian.

Visitation will be from 5pm - 8pm Thursday, July 24, 2014 at First Pentecostal Church, Jackson. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11am at the First Pentecostal Church in Philadelphia. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Linwood Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Neese was a member of First Pentecostal Church, Philadelphia. Prior to his moving to Union he was a member of First Pentecostal Church, Jackson for 34 years. Mr. Neese was a WWII Veteran and worked at Transvault Aircraft in Dallas for 5 years. He moved to Pearl and retired from Stone Container in Flowood after 34 years. Mr. Neese loved his family and his church. He enjoyed fishing and working outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Lee and Susan Mae Neese; first wife, Christeen Neese; son, Eddie Neese; brothers, V.L., Randolph, and Jack Neese; and sisters, Lessie Truitt and Bernice White.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Neese; sons, Alvin H. Neese (Rosie), Jerry Neese (Judy) and Ricky Neese (Patricia); daughters, Gloria Williamson (Jr.), Doris Elaine Organ (Sandy), Kathy Neese Smith (Terry); sister, Mary Brinson (Charles); step-children, Sylvia Boswell (Rufus) and Teresa Barton; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 5 great step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
