Mrs. Alberta S. Covert Dies at Her Home Here
Mrs. Alberta S. Covert, widow of Charles E. Covert, died early this morning at her home, 202 State street. She had been in ill health since the death of her husband about eleven years ago, but had been confined to her bed only during the last several days.
Mrs. Covert was a member of the Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, of the Civic Club and the Wednesday Club. She was at one time a member of the board of the former Children's Industrial Home, and contributed generously to civic projects in this community.
She is survived by two brothers, Harry and Edward Stroh, of Washington, both of whom were expected to arrive here this afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at the residence on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Dr. Wilbur V. Mallalieu officiating. Burial will be in the Harrisburg Cemetery.
