The Harrisburg Cemetery once known as Mount Kalmia Cemetery, is on the National Register of Historical Places;

Address 521 North 13th Street, Harrisburg, Pa. 17113 Phone (717) 234-8661; Chartered in 1845; First person buried in these grounds was Col. James Steele 1845; Several years after founding those older cemeteries in Harrisburg proper such as the Presbyterian Churchyard and the Methodist and several other smaller churchyards were moved to this cemetery. The cemetery covers about 35 acres.
