Mrs. Johnson Died Yesterday

Mrs. Virginia M. Johnson died Friday, February 17, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Horseman, in this city, at the age of 91 years, one month, and 18 days.

Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of Margaret and Jess Strunk. She was born in Union township, Appanoose County, December 30, 1858.

Surviving are eight children, 41 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Mystic Methodist Church, with Rev. M.R. Gonzalez officiating. Burial will be in the Highland cemetery there. The body will remain at the Miller Funeral Home here until 11:00 a.m. Monday, when it will be taken to the Mystic church.
