Funeral rites for Mrs. Martha Jane Parks, who died Monday afternoon at the family home at 1003 west Twelfth street, will be held at the First Christian Church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, just one week after burial services were conducted for her husband, the late Charles W. Parks.

Mr. Parks died on Sunday, April 21, and was buried the following Wednesday. Mrs. Parks passed away eight days later, about 3:30 Monday afternoon. Both had been in failing health for some time.

She is survived by one son and two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia O. Crawford of Hastings and Mrs. Quinne (sic) Owen and Marvin E. Parks of Juniata.
