David T. Whitley
David T. Whitley, 53, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
He was born on May 31, 1961 in Greenfield, the son of James H. and Helen Pollitt Whitley. His mother, Helen Whitley of Greenfield survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Chelsa Whitley of Greenfield and Jada McGee of Hillsboro; one grandson, Brycden Whitley; two sisters; Linda Goddard and Ginger (Wade) Renner all of Greenfield; one brother, Steve (Joanne) Whitley of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Whitley; an infant brother, Jimmy Whitley; and a brother, Holt Whitley.
David was a 1979 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. He had worked for Time Warner as a lineman and had been a regional Employee of the Year.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 11 at the Anderson-Ebright Funeral Home, Greenfield, with Pastor Joe Current officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may visit with the Whitley family on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
