Holt Whitley
Holt Whitley, 55, of Leesburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born Aug. 31, 1955 in Greenfield to James H. and Helen L. (Pollitt) Whitley.
He was employed by Time-Warner Cable and was a 1973 graduate of McClain High School in Greenfield.
He married Karen Blair, who survives, on Jan. 1, 1999.
Also surviving are his mother, Helen L. Whitley of Greenfield; children Angel (Jack) Blevens, Scott (Missy) Purdin, Jamie (Rebeckah)
Purdin and Rob (Dawn) Purdin, all of Hillsboro, Mary Beth (James) Craycraft of Leesburg, and Hanna, Candijo and Lilly Rose Whitley,
at home; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Goddard and Ginger (Wade) Renner, both of Greenfield; two brothers, Steve (Joanne) Whitley of Hillsboro and David Whitley of Greenfield; and five nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Whitley; a son, Christopher Purdin; and an infant brother, Jimmy Whitely.
Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22.
