Howard Glenn Cole Succumbs After Extended Illness
Howard Glenn Cole, 38, of 1058 West street, died early this morning after an extended illness.
The decedent was born May 22, 1913, in Valparaiso, a son of Roy and Minnie (Sheets) Cole. In 1936 he married Agnes Jensen at LaPorte.
Surviving are the widow; two sons, Glenn and Eugene; four brothers, Lyal and Robert Cole, Valparaiso; Leroy, Fort Sill, Okla., and Edward, Great Lakes, Ill., and three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Schumacker and Miss Beverly Cole, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Edith Hamann, Boone Grove.
He had resided in Valparaiso all his life and was employed at the Carnegie-Illinois Steel corporation in Gary. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Howard Glenn Cole Rites To Be Monday
Memorial services for Howard Glenn Cole, who died Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bartholomew funeral home, 102 Monroe, with the Rev. Percy Thomas, of the First Christian church, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Friends may call at the Bartholomew funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday to time of services Monday.
