Donald Davis, Jr. passed away May 9 at the age of 34. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 30, 1979.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 14 at 12:00 noon at Friendship Baptist Church, 866 Congress Ave., Lincoln Heights, 45215 with the visitation from 11-12pm. Interment in Landmark Memorial Gardens.

Donald better known as Little Donnie passed peacefully from this life the morning of May 9, 2014 at age 34. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family. Donald was born October 30, 1979 in Cincinnati, OH to Donald Davis, Sr. and Elizabeth Mundy Davis.

He accepted Christ at an early age by uniting with St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Lincoln Heights. Later in life he was baptized at Phillips Memorial. He graduated from Scarlet Oaks in 1997 with a trade in Commercial Arts. Donnie loved to work. Starting at a young age, he held jobs at Chuckie Cheese and Bob Evans. In his adult life he worked for Central Transport, Cornerstone, the United States Post Office and Watkins Trucking.

On October 21, 2008, Donnie married Candice Tarleton. He and Candice spent 12 years of their lives together. During this time they had a beautiful son, Donovan Tyrese.

For entertainment he enjoyed basketball, playing video games, shooting pool, watching movies and most of all cracking jokes about people. He had a way of making everyone laugh and smile. His favorite football team was the Cincinnati Bengals.

Donnie was preceded in death by his paternal Grandmother, Rosella Williams and his maternal uncle Kevin T. Thomas.

Donnie leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: His loving wife, Candice, son Donovan Davis, stepdaughter Shamira Tarleton, his parents Donald and Elizabeth Davis, brother, Brian Davis; his mother-in-law Mrs. Melvenda Tarleton, father-in-law Mr. Burnell Tarleton, sister-in-laws Stacey Tarleton and Tonya Tarleton, grandmother-in-law Melba Norris, Wanda Norris and two special friends Mr. Benny and Mr. Larry; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
