Note: Bill Wood states that his "John" William WOOD was born in 1807 to Hezekiah WOOD & Patsy GENTRY However The GENTRY Journal which gives the 1806 Will of Patsy's father George GENTRY, refers to Patsy wife of Jehu(John) WALTON ergo any issue for Patsy would be WALTONs at that time. In those days, Hopewell's land was on the north bank(Orange County) of a Preddies Creek and the GENTRYs were on the south bank(Albemarle County). my guess is that Hezekiah "swam" the river for a "tete-a-tete and married Patsy for honor after Frances was born, divorcing in 1802 just prior to marriage to Sally BRADLEY, Through Sally we are realted to Gen.(ret) Nelson Omar BRADLEY. ~ Jim Adams
