Funeral service was held last week Tuesday at Iowa Falls, Iowa, for Mrs. Dan W. Mason who died on the Friday before at the home of her mother-in-law, Mrs. S.J. Mason. Interment was made in Union cemetery at that place.

Mrs. Mason, with her husband and family, had just moved from this community to Iowa. They had resided near Tracy for many years and leave many friends here who extend sympathy to the family.

Ada Astling Mason was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Astling, born Dec. 12, 1885, at Leeds, England. When she was three years of age she came to America with her parents and settled in Chicago. She later went to Sycamore, Illinois, where she and Mr. Mason were married, June 12, 1907. She has resided near Tracy during most of her married life. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Mrs. Mason is survived by her husband, three sons, Oliver L. and William F. of Gilroy, California, and Robert of Iowa Falls; one daughter, Mary, at home; her mother, Mrs. Ann Astling, three sisters and three brothers all of Sycamore Illinois, and two grandchildren. Her father, three brothers, and one sister preceded Mrs. Mason in death.
