CELESTE XAIZ
Midvale - Mrs. Celeste Xaiz, 88, of 75 W. Center St., Midvale, died Sept. 5, 1973, in a Salt Lake City hospital of natural causes.
Born Feb. 21, 1885 in Tiger, Belluno, Italy, to Mr. and Mrs. Pete Case. She married John Xaiz in Tiger on Jan. 4, 1906. They moved to Utah in 1912. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors: two sons, Feno and Ernest, Midvale; four daughters, Mrs. Louis (Olive) Leonard and Mrs. Joe (Josephine) Scorzato, both of Midvale; Mrs. Nick (Virginia) Dokos, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Henry (Antonette) Pannunzio, Tooele; 25 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Requiem Mass Saturday at 10 a.m., St. Therese Church, 112 S. Allen St., Midvale. Holy Rosary Friday at 8 p.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday before mass. Burial in Midvale City Cemetery.
