3/4/1868 - 7/21/1956 Mary Henderson Dies at Age 88 at Wayne City Mrs. Mary Jane Henderson, 88, died at 12:10 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara Henson of Wayne City. Mrs. Henderson was a resident of Sims. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Bailey church. The Rev. Jesse Miller will conduct the services, and burial will be in Bailey cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Richardson Chapel after 7:30 this evening. Mrs. Henderson was born March 4, 1868, in Wayne county. She was the daughter of Jim and Elizabeth (Withrow) Malone. She was first married to John Edward Barnard, who died August 24, 1943. Later she was married to Lee Henderson, who survives. Other survivors are a son, Vess Barnard of Wayne City; a daughter, Mrs. Clara Henson of Wayne City, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, George Malone of Copeland, Kansas; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Bullard of Johnsonville."
