Inez Lola Ewing Sullivan, 94, Independence, died Oct. 16, 2000, at the Independence Manor Care Center. Mrs. Sullivan was born Jan. 18, 1906, in Mayview, MO, and lived in Lexington, MO, before moving to Independence seven years ago.

She was a 1925 graduate of Odessa High School.

She had worked at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant during World War II. She worked in the accounting office at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1954 to 1978, retiring at the age of 72.

She was a Presbyterian by faith.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Will and Clark Ewing.

Her survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Pat Sullivan of Independence, MO; one sister, Lorene Oliaro of Lexington, MO; two grandsons; three great-grandsons; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at the Husman-Sparks-McDowell Funeral Chapel, Odessa. Burial will be in Odessa Cemetery.
