LEONA B. GILBERT

Midvale - Leona Belle Leak Gilbert, 64, 455 E. Center, Midvale, died 9:55 p.m. Wednesday in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes.
Born Nov. 7, 1897, Midvale, a daughter of Franklin and Betsy Jane Jensen Leak. Married Royce R. Gilbert Nov. 7, 1917, in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Member, Gold Star Mothers and Lions Auxiliary. Active Midvale First Ward, serving in presidency of YWMIA. Member Midvale Community Club, past president, Parent Teachers Assn.
Survivors: husband; sons and daughters, Grant R. Gilbert and Richard M. Gilbert, both of Midvale; Mrs. Wells (Faye) Roundy, Provo, and Mrs. Gayle (Mary Dean) Holt, Granger; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services Saturday at 1 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, Midvale, where friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in the Midvale City Cemetery.
