MIDVALE--Funeral for William Hurd, 73, 7734 S 3rd East is pending arrival of son. Died Sunday, 9:30 a.m. at his home of a coronary occlusion. Born April 15, 1886, Salt Lake City, to John W., and Elizabeth Williams Hurd. Married Almarie Winders April 28, 1920, St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Provo. Retired businessman. Operated Hurds Lunch Stand, Midvale Junction until 1943.

Survivors: widow, Midvale; sons, Bill, Hoboken, N.J.; Jack, Arlington, Va.; two grandchildren; brother, sister, Albert, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Anna H. Clark, Buhl, Idaho.
