Midvale - Eddley Irene Charter Jenkins, 73, 365 Washington St., Midvale, died Tuesday, 9:50 p.m. in a rest home of natural causes.
Born Sept. 20, 1891, West Jordan, a daughter of Henry Willard and Eddley Hansen Charter. Married Sept. 20, 1911 to Washington (W. B.) Jenkins, Sandy. Later solemnized in Salt Lake Temple. Member Singing Mothers, Midvale First Ward, officer and visiting teacher in Relief Society. Member, Glover Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Midvale Fifth Ward.
Survivors: husband; sons, daughters, Willard A., Leadville, Colo.; H. Donald, San Diego, Calif.; Orren L., Crescent; Mrs. Kenneth G. (Edith) Mounteer, Aaron R., both Midvale; Doris, Bountiful; sister, Mrs. Mabel C. Ott, Tropic; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Midvale Stake Center. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Thursday from 6-8 p.m., and Friday before services. Burial at Midvale City Cemetery.
