Ann B. Stevenson, 84, of Chicora went to be with the Lord at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Ann was born in Kaylor on Jan. 8, 1930. She was the daughter of Ralph and Josephine Phillips Adams.
She was of the Protestant faith and in her earlier years had attended the Chicora Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
Ann enjoyed the company of her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, visiting her sisters with her late husband, Harold, cooking for her family, and watching "Wheel of Fortune."
Ann was married on Oct. 8, 1960, to Harold L. "Tiny" Stevenson. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2007.
She is survived by her two sons, Jay A. Stevenson and his wife, Amy, of East Brady and DeWayne H. Stevenson and his wife, Terri, of Chicora; her six grandchildren, Ryan Eric Michael Smith and his wife, Nicole, Jamie Lynn Stevenson and her fiance, Jay Murray, and Justin Stevenson and his companion, Kendra Coover, all of East Brady, Lori Thompson and her husband, Derrick, and Kimberly Stevenson, both of Butler, and Brian Stevenson of Chicora; her six great-grandchildren, Braden, Skylar, Mackenzie, Kiera, Logan and Dylan; her brother, Andy Adams of Conneaut Lake; her two sisters, Josephine Stivason and Nora Eyth, both of Butler; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by her seven brothers, Jim, Joe, Ernest, Dominic, Sam, Leo and Tony, and her three sisters, Jeanette, Mary and Rose.
Stevenson - The friends of Ann B. Stevenson, who passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014, will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
A funeral service will be from the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Jerry Pyle, associate pastor of the Chicora Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Interment will be in Hemphill Cemetery.
