Charles Hand, 66, Of Bells Camp, Dies in Hospital
Charles Hand, 66, of Bells Camp, died this morning at 1:30 o'clock in Bradford Hospital. He had been ill for the past two and one half years. Mr. Hand worked in the Bradford Oil fields all his life.
Mr. Hand was born in Bells Camp on June 8, 1884. He had resided in the Bradford area for most of his life. He was a member of the Derrick City Methodist Church.
His survived by his wife Mrs. Laura Hand of Bells Camp; a daughter, Mrs Lyle O'Hara of Salamanca, N. Y., seven sons, Calvin Hand, Bradford, Paul Hand, Sugar Grove, Roscoe Hand, Prenticeville, N. Y., Earl Hand, Harry Hand, Eldred and James Hand, Bells Camp; a sister, Mrs. Fred McGinley of Bradford; two brothers, John Hand, Bradford, and Ed Hand, Chicago Ill., 16 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of Hollenbeck's Funeral Home and as yet are incomplete.
