H. Earl Hand, 65, a resident of Rixford, died Saturday (Jan 7, 1978) at the Mesa General Hospital, Mesa, Aza, where he was spending the winter.

Born at Accident, Md. he was a son of the late Charles and Laura Bowser Hand. He was married to the former Carrie Moore, who survives.

Mr. Hand was a retired drilling contractor and later a security guard at the Airco-Speer Resistor.

Mr. Hand was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Bradford.

Surviving besides his widow, are a daughter, Sandra Lea of Rixford; a sister, Mrs Marian O'Hara of Hamburg, N.Y. and three brothers, Harry Hand of Cleveland, Ohio, Roy Hand of Eldred and James Hand of Bells Camp.

Friends may call at the McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette, Friday (Jan 13, 1978) from noon to 1 p.m. where services will be conducted by the Rev. J. Arthur Cox, pastor of the Grace Lutheran Church

Local arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel, 33 South Ave, Bradford.
