Susan was the eldest daughter of George Randolph & Elizabeth Thomason. She was born in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The family moved back to Alabama shortly after her birth, living in Colbert County area.
Susan married John Shelby Wallace on March 14, 1883 at Cheatham Ferry, Lauderdale County, Alabama.
Susan & John had five children Joseph, Ida, Thomas, Ella, & Emily.
John had been married to Nancy Fowler in 1870 and the family moved to Grayson County, Texas where it is believed Nancy died around 1882. John returned to Lauderdale County with four children: Ned, James, Sally, & Harrison.
After John's death 1909 Susan moved back to Lauderdale County where several of her siblings lived. She lived in the Oakland area until her death in 1938.
