MR. SESSIONS

CUSSETA --- Mr. Wallace L. Sessions Sr. 72, of Cusseta died Friday, Feb. 9, 1996 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Revs. Phillip Sessions, J. H. King and Bernard Fuller officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett.

Mr. Session is survived by his daughter, Diane McCarley of LaGrange, Ga.; two sons, Wallace L. Sessions Jr of Five Points and Bobby J. Sessions of Hayesville, N. C.; two sisters, Monteze Crowder of Valley and Naomi Payne of Lan3ett; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Born March 23, 1923, in Lanett, Mr. Sessions was a member of Lanett First Church of the Nazarene. He was a retired heating and air condition mechanic. Mr. Session was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army in Italy, Germany and Africa. He received the European Campaign Medal, African Campaign Medal, World War II victory Oak Leaf clusters, three Battle Stars and Purple Heart. He was a husband of the late Laura Lurine Fuller Sessions and the son of the late John Early Sessions and Amanda Belcher Sessions.
