"DIED—In this City, Mr. John Caldwell, jun. son of John Caldwell, Esq. in the 24th year of his age——Within six months three of six children in the vigor of youth, have been taken from this afflicted parent and family. But yesterday the light of prosperity shone around them—to day, the clouds of sorrow obscure their solitary path. This amiable son and beloved brother whose spirit was liberal and whose heart benevolent, is cut off in the bloom of life from fair and pleasing prospects. He passed the closing scenes of life with quiet and pious resignation, and left his friends to mourn in hope."
