Phebe married Andrew Jackson Crum on September 9, 1873 in Macoupin County, Illinois.
When Phebe died, she was originally buried in Crum Cemetery. Her husband, Andrew, wanted to be buried there as well when he passed away but his children denied his wishes. This was probably due to the fact that it was muddy and difficult to get to in wet weather. So their children buried Andrew in Oak Hill Cemetery in Palmyra. Afterwards, Phebe was exhumed from Crum Cemetery and re-interred in Oak Hill next to her husband.
