Kenneth L. Boggs obituary


Kenneth L. Boggs, 71, of 437 Wood St,, Piqua, died, Thursday, May 20, 1993, at 12:30 A.M. in his residence.


He was born in Covington on Nov. 9, 1921, the son of the late Harry L. and Eva M. Wingerter.


He was married to Ruth McMaster Boggs on July 21, 1942, in Bradford. She survives.


Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William Noon (Vicki) of Coventry, R.I.; two sons, James Boggs of Beaver, Pa., and Kenneth L. Boggs of Hollerman Air Force Base, N.M.; three sisters, Mrs. Francis Martin (Louise), Mrs. James Estes (Helen), and Mrs. Linden Brubaker (Juanita), all of Piqua; wight grandchildren and one great-grandson.


Mr. Boggs was a member of the Bradford Church of the Brethren and the American Legion Post 184 of Piqua. He was a World War II Marine Veteran.


He was a retired construction worker and had been employed by Benning Construction of Piqua.


Services will be Monday at 1 P.M. in the Jamieson and Yannucci Funeral Home, with the Rev. Linden Brubaker officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Covington. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 P.M. in the funeral home.


Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
