The Bangor Daily News, Bangor, Maine, Friday, April 2, 1915, Page 13: The death of Albert Leroy Smith occurred at his home on Ayer's Court on Thursday [April 1, 1915] at the age of 44 years and 21 days. Mr. Smith's death came as a result of an illness from which he has suffered for several months. He has resided in this city for the past twelve years, and for eight years has been employed by Hon. J. P. Bass as interior painter. He is survived by a wife and two daughters: Bernice and Eva Smith; also by three brothers and one sister: Loomis A. Smith of Orrington [Maine]; Edward T. Smith [sic] of Bangor; and Mrs. Amanda F. Doughty of Providence [Rhode Island].
