Death summoned a well known Baker resident in the passing of Andrew Geving Friday, Dec 3rd at the Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, where he had been a patient more than four weeks. He was apparently getting along nicely under medical treatment and expected to be able to go home soon but a heart attack occurred Saturday and he passed away rather suddenly.
Funeral services were held in Baker Wednesday afternoon from the Lutheran Church with the Rev John A. Berge in charge. D.R. Young, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Herbert Jundt, sang "In The Garden" and "Abide With Me".
The pallbearers were Fred Buerkle, R.B. Cartwright, Lawrence Ferrie, Win Hubbard, R. Tunby, and M.L. Wheeler. Internment was made in Bonnievale Cemetery. Numerous sprays of beautiful flowers betokened the esteem and affection felt for the departed and the chapel room and ante room were filled with sorrowing friends in attendance.
