Bessie Geving, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Halvor Gunderson was born in Blooming Prarie, MN July 5, 1869 and passed away Mar 12 at 8:15 p.m., 1951.
In 1891 she was united in marriage to Andrew O Geving, and they made their home in Minnesota until in 1910 when they came to Montana and homesteaded 15 miles Northwest of Baker where they lived until they moved to Baker in 1939. Her husband passed away in 1943. She leaves to mourn her loss seven children: Mrs. Emma Thompson of Crescent City, CA, Mrs. Gertrude Frazier, Mrs. Mary Hoseman, of Yakima, WA, Mrs. Mabel Beckman of Kinsey, MT, Albert, William, and Ben Geving of Baker. 27 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Chariton, Ismay, MT, Mrs. Carrie Empting, Big Lake, MN, Mrs. Gertie Douglas Smithers, British Columbia, O.H. Gunderson, Kyle, Sask, Two sons preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Lutheran Church in Baker.

GEVING RITES-- 3/22/1951
The last rites for Mrs. Andrew O. Geving who passed away March 12, were held Thursday afternoon from the Lutheran Church in Baker with the Rev. J.A. Berge officiating.
D.R. Young sang "Beyond the sunset", and "The End of a Perfect Day" and was accompanied by Mr.s Herbert Jundt. The pallbearers, all grandsons, were Claud Beckman, Bernard Beckman, Stanley Beckman, Wm. Geving, Jr., Monte Geving, and Connie Geving. Internment took place in the family plot in Bonnievale cemetery.
Out of town relatives in attendance included Mr. and Mrs. Alick Beckman, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Beckman, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hanson, Claude and Robert Beckman, all of Kinsey; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Beckman, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hann of Miles City, Mrs. Dusty Hoff of Billings, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson, Sivert Geving and Mel Kramer of New England, ND; Mrs. and Mrs. Wesley Lausch and Raymond of Ismay and Chris Norvelt of Plevna.

CARD OF THANKS
We wish to thank with all our hearts the friends for their kindness during the last illness of our mother and grandmother and for the sympathy shown at her passing, the flowers, cards and memorials to the Lutheran Mission Home and the Fallon County Memorial Hospital. We deeply appreciate it all. The Geving Family.
