"Thomas J. McVey, Jr., 75, of Round Rock, died Monday May 19, 2014 in Austin. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Rev. Jody Hickman officiated.
Mr. McVey was born July 6, 1938 in Rosebud to Thomas J. and Mary Koslosky McVey Sr. He grew up in Milam County and graduated from CH Yoe High School in Cameron in 1956. He married Helen Moore on August 21, 1959.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked as sales manager for the Rainbow Bread Company and retired after 33 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and one daughter.
Visitation was held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud."
